Mr Siththai Sayasone (Sith)
Siththai (or ‘Sith’) joined Destination Asia in July 2005 as our Luang Prabang based Operations Executive. Originally from a small remote village in Udomxay province in Northern Laos, Siththai first moved to Luang Prabang as a teenager in 1993 to study as a Novice Monk. After moving back to his hometown in 1997, he decided to return to Luang Prabang in 1999 to settle, and gained valuable experience in the local Luang Prabang tourism scene prior to joining Destination Asia.
Siththai works hard to ensure that all arrangements for groups and FITs visiting Luang Prabang are perfect, and that all our clients have the very best experience possible when visiting his adopted hometown. Outgoing by nature with a good sense of humor, he loves travel and meeting new friends, qualities which are very beneficial in his role with Destination Asia. In his spare time he enjoys exploring Laos’ great outdoors, including hiking and fishing. Sith also enjoys dining out and loves to introduce visitors to Laos to the local cuisine, including his favorite dish - grilled fish, chilli sauce with garlic, and sticky rice…delicious!!
