Incentives and Conventions Manager

Wanchai Thavornthaveekul 

After graduating from a College of Arts and Tourism Khun Wanchai started working with the hotel and airline business for more than 3 years. In 1988, he moved to one of leading travel agents Diethelm Travel and looked after series and special ad hoc group business. With Diethelm he studied how to handle and work with European and USA tour operators.

In 1995, he joined Tour East where he was learning how to service MICE (Incentive) business. It was here that he first met with Khun Addie whom was Director of Sales & Marketing and fully in charge the Incentive program

In 1999, he re-joined with Khun Addie at Destination Asia (Thailand) and where he was promoted to be Incentive & Convention Manager. With about 20 consecutive years in tourism and especially MICE business, Wanchai has helped develop a strong professional team with Destination Asia.
