Hua Hin: The Royal Coast

Located on the Western side or Sunrise side of the upper Gulf of Thailand, this area straddles two provinces - Phetchaburi and Prachuab Khiri Khan. The main town of Hua Hin was Thailand’s first beach resort and was connected by rail from Bangkok in 1911. The area includes a wealth of sightseeing and exploring opportunities. There are two major national parks in the area - Kaeng Krachan, Thailand’s largest, is nearby, as is Sam Roi Yod National Park. There are also numerous international standard golf courses, fantastic seafood restaurants and an interesting night market.
