The Details

A global medical technology company headquartered in the UK brought 40 top-performing participants to Bali for an exclusive incentive program. The brief called for a carefully curated itinerary combining stays at two contrasting high-end resorts, with Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay and Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan selected. The program needed to incorporate private travel, exceptional dining and immersive encounters with Balinese arts and culture, before culminating in a spectacular farewell celebration on Bali’s southern coast.

  • Bali from above
Guests travelled between the two Four Seasons resorts by helicopter, transforming what could have been a simple hotel transfer into one of the defining experiences of the program, with an unforgettable aerial perspective of the island.
  • An exclusive stop at Tanah Gajah
The journey between resorts included a private lunch at Tempayan Restaurant at Tanah Gajah, adding a distinctive dining experience and a beautiful setting to the route through Bali’s interior.
  • Hands-on Balinese culture
Guests were introduced to a range of traditional Balinese arts through hands-on sessions with local artisans, including wood carving, mask painting, lontar drawing, gamelan and traditional dance.
  • A clifftop finale
The program concluded with a farewell dinner at Tirtha Uluwatu, where the dramatic clifftop setting provided a memorable backdrop for celebrating the end of an amazing program.
Making the helicopter transfer work for a group of 40 required careful coordination. Limited aircraft availability meant six individual flights were needed across each 20-person travel wave, with mandatory intervals between departures. Road traffic, hotel departure times, heliport movements and aircraft schedules all had to align precisely, leaving little room for delays.

Destination Asia Events carried out advance inspections of both heliports and worked closely with the helicopter operator, guides and ground teams throughout the transfer. Following the first wave, timings were refined and refreshments arranged at the heliport to improve the experience for the following group. When a late arrival affected the second wave, real-time communication between teams allowed the schedule to be adjusted quickly. Through detailed preparation and responsive on-site coordination, the complex transfer was completed safely and smoothly without taking away from the experience.
