Strengthening our commitment to sustainability management and the delivery of consistent responsible business practices, Destination Asia joined Travelife, the internationally recognised sustainability program for tour operators and travel agents, in 2017. Travelife is an internationally recognised sustainability program for tour operators and travel agents, providing a structured framework to help guide our operations along a more sustainable path. The program has three recognition levels: (1) Travelife Engaged, (2) Travelife Partner and (3) Travelife Certified, and to maintain these recognitions, companies are independently reassessed every two years to verify continued compliance with the applicable Travelife criteria and standards.
Destination Asia Indonesia is proudly Stage 3 – Travelife Certified.
Valid until 24 October 2027.
Travelife Certified is the highest recognition level within the Travelife program and is awarded following a comprehensive independent on-site audit against the Travelife Certified Standard. During the audit, it is verified that the company complies with more than 200 mandatory sustainability criteria covering environmental management, climate action, biodiversity, working conditions, human rights, local communities, sustainable supply chain management, customer communication and responsible business practices. The audit confirms that the sustainability management system and sustainability practices have been demonstrably implemented throughout the organisation and comply with the requirements of the Travelife Certified Standard.
Destination Asia Thailand is proudly Stage 2 – Travelife Partner.

Travelife Partner is the entry recognition level and confirms a company’s commitment to continuously improving the sustainability of its business operations through a structured sustainability management system and the implementation of recognised sustainability practices. Partner recognition is awarded following an independent assessment against the Travelife Partner criteria, during which the company’s sustainability policy, objectives, management system, implementation of key sustainability practices and supporting documentation are evaluated against 60 mandatory sustainability criteria.
