Magical Mulu Cave Experience

What to expect

Located in Gunung Mulu National Park is one of Borneo’s most distinctive landscapes, where rainforests, rivers, and limestone formations have evolved over millions of years. Set within a protected environment of exceptional biodiversity, the program introduces the scale and complexity of Mulu’s karst system while maintaining a close connection to the surrounding forest.

Walks along raised plankways lead through dense vegetation to Deer Cave and Lang Cave, where vast chambers and sculpted rock formations reveal the depth of the underground network. At dusk, the bat exodus creates a striking natural display as thousands emerge into the evening sky. The journey continues by longboat to Batu Bungan, a Penan settlement, offering insight into local life, followed by visits to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. Time at Clearwater Spring provides a quiet pause before a final morning at leisure and departure.
