Chiang Mai Nature Escape

What to expect

Doi Inthanon National Park offers a highland journey through northern Thailand, where cool air, forested slopes, and wide mountain views define the landscape. Travelling by road from Chiang Mai along winding routes, the experience reaches the summit of the country’s highest peak, where panoramic scenery and the Ang Ka Nature Trail introduce a rare cloud forest ecosystem shaped by altitude and mist. Nearby, the Twin Royal Pagodas rise above carefully tended gardens, set against an expansive mountain backdrop.

Following a traditional Thai lunch, the route continues on foot along the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail, a gentle walk through forest paths, waterfalls, and flowing streams. The trail leads to a Karen hilltribe village, where locally grown coffee reflects long-standing agricultural practices in the region. The journey concludes at Wachiratharn Waterfall, a powerful cascade set in dense greenery and mountainous surroundings, before the scenic return drive to Chiang Mai.
