Westlife brings anniversary tour to Hong Kong

For anyone whose formative years were soundtracked by Irish pop group Westlife, January brings an opportunity to revisit some familiar favourites.

The quartet will perform at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Arena on 27 January 2027 as part of WESTLIFE 25: THE ANNIVERSARY WORLD TOUR, celebrating a quarter-century of chart success.

The numbers behind that longevity are impressive. Westlife have sold over 55 million records, amassed three billion global streams and scored 14 UK number-one singles, a tally surpassed only by Elvis Presley and The Beatles.

Their appeal has also proved remarkably durable. The group’s most recent tour sold over 1.2 million tickets, drawing audiences spanning generations and demonstrating that their catalogue of ballads and pop anthems still resonates.

The Hong Kong concert promises a generous helping of nostalgia, with the band’s best-known songs providing the centrepiece of a large-scale arena production.

For international visitors, the performance offers another reason to plan a city break, combining an evening of live music with Hong Kong’s dining, shopping and cultural attractions.
